BioErica Lopedote is a Ph.D. student in the CREST group, service Aéro-thermo-mécanique (ATM), at Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), holding a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II”. Her doctoral research focuses on Electric Space Propulsion, particularly on electrospray thrusters for SmallSats, and their optimization. She completed her Master’s thesis at the Italian Aerospace Research Centre (C.I.R.A.) on magnetically shielded Hall-effect thrusters, a work awarded in 2022 by the Italian National Council of Engineers. She has been selected for several ESA Academy training programs in Space System Engineering, CubeSats mission design, and Electric Propulsion.

Kyla is a PhD student at the Spatial Epidemiology Lab (SpELL), she studies the emergence of certain arboviral diseases by adopting a holistic approach that thoroughly examines the climatic and environmental factors contributing to their dynamics.

Dr Asif Baloch

Asif Khan is a Ph.D. research candidate at the Centre for Research and Engineering in Space Technologies (CREST) at Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Hailing from the picturesque region of Balochistan, Pakistan, his research focuses on the characterisation of porous media and the development of innovative manufacturing techniques for porous structures, with a particular emphasis on thermal engineering applications in space. He is driven by an enthusiasm for learning and a passion for sports. He is a dynamic and sociable person, confidently stepping in to collaborate and support others in both academic and social.

Dr Anne-Sophie Crosetti

Anne-Sophie Crosetti est postdoctorante Chargée de Recherche à l'Université libre de Bruxelles, financée par le FNRS. Elle a réalisé sa thèse en sociologie en tant qu'aspirante du FNRS sur la prise en charge de la planification familiale, de l'avortement et de la contraception par des groupes catholiques en Belgique durant la "révolution sexuelle", dans le cadre de l'action de recherche collective et interdisciplinaire "Sex&Pil". Elle est diplômée en sciences sociales de l’École Normale Supérieure de Paris et en sciences politiques de l’Université Paris VIII. Elle a également étudié en tant que research graduate student à l’Université de Cambridge.

Son projet de recherche porte sur les mouvements "pro-vie" en Belgique, en France et en Irlande, dans une perspective internationale et socio-historique. Ses recherches se situent plus généralement au croisement de la sociologie du genre, des sexualités et du religieux.
